Economic Development Research Program (EDRP)
EDRP is a program which uses the resources of the University of Arizona to help foster economic development within the State of Arizona, with a special focus on economically distressed areas within the state. We work in cooperation with local and state development and government agencies, Native American tribes, utility service providers, and other community entities. To this end, we conduct applied and basic research studies culminating in reports that help inform the public of local economic development issues, and offer practical recommendations on how to address these issues.
